Two light freezer trucks in Kwun Tong damaged by 3 suspects, 1 driver injured by them


23rd May 2020 – (Hong Kong) At 1p.m. today, a 42-year-old South Asian and a 38-year-old male colleague each drove a light freezer truck separately to Wai Lok Street in Kwun Tong to unload goods. During this period, three suspects armed with baseball bats and plastic poles suddenly rushed out and smashed the two respective freezer trucks.

The 38-year-old driver tried to stop them but he was assaulted by the 3 suspects before fleeing the scene. The two trucks sustained damages on windscreen, reverse mirror, headlamps. The 38-year-old driver was sent to United Christian Hospital for treatment. Police are currently looking for the suspects.
