24th May 2020 – (Hong Kong) At around 10pm yesterday, more than 9 people engaged in an altercation before assaulting each other near the Lennon Wall at the staircase of a pedestrian footbridge opposite North District Town Hall in Sheung Shui. A pedestrian who saw them called the police for help. Two men aged 37 and 35 years sustained hand and leg injuries remained at the scene when police arrived. They claimed that they were trying to stop six others from posting anti-government posters on the Lenon Wall but they were told off and attacked.
The other six used umbrellas and bicycles as weapons to assault them. Police are currently looking for the 6 suspects clad in black.
