TVB Actor Owen Cheung puts on 18kg before training to become buff for his new drama role


    16th November 2021 – (Hong Kong) 34-year-old TVB actor Owen Cheung who ate five meals a day comprising beef and rice to put on 18kg last year had transformed into a lean and buff figure after working out for 3-4 hours a days. His diet mainly consists of steamed chicken and fish and he has cut out salt, oil, sugar and starch. He even mix 20-30 egg whites in his protein shake for a while.

    The whole ordeal was just to enable him to play a boxer in the TVB drama The Ringmaster.

    Owen Cheung is a Hong Kong actor contracted to TVB. He is best known for his roles as Kuk Yat-ha in Legal Mavericks and Ko Ban in Al Cappuccino. After winning the 2019 TVB Anniversary Award for Most Improved Male Artiste, Cheung won Most Popular Male Character at the 2020 TVB Anniversary Awards.
