Passengers can take up to 12 minutes to get off the train before reaching the exit. For example, it takes at least 8 minutes to walk from East Tsim Sha Tsui Station to Exit L5.
At the bottom of the list is MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit L5. It will take at least 8 minutes from MTR TST East Station to reach the exit. There is no Pedestrian Walkway System built in between the platform and the exit. Fourth on the list is Exit A of MTR Causeway Bay Station, which leads directly to Times Square. Passengers who get off at the platform towards Chai Wan must walk past the platform towards Kennedy Town before taking the ramp to the exit gate, they then need to take several escalators before reaching the ground level.
The third place is Exit B3 of MTR Sung Wong Toi Station, passengers can go straight to Nam Kok Road in Kowloon City along the underground tunnel. Although the journey is long, there are historical and cultural relics exhibitions along the way.
The 2nd place is Exit A2 of MTR Sai Ying Pun Station, the distance between the train platform and Exit A2 is akin to a ‘Time Tunnel’.
