21st April 2024 – (Hong Kong) In a recent social media upload, a photograph captured three individuals riding what appears to be an electric vehicle along Tsz Wan Shan Road. The image, taken on the 20th of April, depicts the trio without helmets, with one person positioned at the rear wearing a bucket hat and carrying what seems to be a roughly three-foot-long wooden object on their shoulder.

As this photograph circulated online, netizens quickly voiced their opinions on the matter. Some remarked that such scenes were more commonly associated with mainland China or Thailand, stating, “I thought I was looking at footage from Shenzhen,” and “No need to wear helmets.” Another individual commented, “If I had known back then, I wouldn’t have gone through the hassle of obtaining a motorcycle licence; I could have just bought an electric bike.” The incident even drew a comparison to “stunt suicide” by one netizen.
