Thirteen Mainland women arrested in Tai Po vice operation

24th October 2025 – (Hong Kong) A joint anti-vice operation conducted in the Tai Po district on 23rd October resulted in the detention of thirteen mainland Chinese women. Police, in collaboration with officers from the Immigration Department, carried out the targeted action at around 3pm.

The operation encompassed multiple locations across Tai Po, Sheung Shui, and Fanling, with raids conducted on public streets and within several residential units. The individuals arrested, aged between 19 and 43, were apprehended on suspicion of breaching their conditions of stay in Hong Kong.

All thirteen women are currently detained for further investigation and will subsequently be handed over to the relevant authorities for follow-up action.
