Thieves break into Genki Sushi and another Taiwanese Restaurant in Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre

9th November 2019 – (Hong Kong) At around 6.15am today, the roller shutter of a Genki Sushi branch in Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre was forced open. Security guard immediately called the police for help. The branch manager was notified and he found one cash register was missing while the other one was damaged. The loss was still being calculated at press time.

After checking the CCTV footage, police confirmed that the thieves broke into the restaurant at around 5am today. Meanwhile, at 7.30am today, security guard also found the roller shutter of another Taiwanese restaurant in the same mall forced open. The cash register was also damaged.

Police are trying to establish if the two thefts are committed by the same group of thieves.
