Thief breaks into half billion dollar mansion on the Peak to steal HK$20m worth of valuables including expensive watches

4th December 2022 – (Hong Kong) At around 2am today, a female resident of a detached house at No. 7-15 Mount Kellett Road on the Peak reported to the police that she saw a thief in the house.

The police rushed to the scene, but there was no trace of the thief at that time. According to the information provided by the victim and nearby CCTV footage, they are investigating the incident.

As of this morning, the detectives returned to the house involved and continued to investigate the case. It is reported that after a preliminary count, the resident involved found that a number of expensive watches, rings, food items and other valuables were stolen with a total loss of about 20 million Hong Kong dollars. Despite having a security booth at the entrance and exit of the scene, a suspicious man still managed to drive a motorcycle wandering nearby, it is unknown whether he was related to the incident.

A 4,391sqf house which is more than 10 years old at No. 7-15 Mount Kellett Road was sold for HK$510 million in recent months.
