The Young Master of Bitcoins, Wong Ching Kit, formally charged for causing nuisance in public space

14th June 2019 – (Hong Kong) The Young Master of Bitcoins, Wong Ching Kit who was arrested by police in February this year for orchestrating the ‘money falling the sky’ stunt in Sham Shui Po in December 2018 has been formally charged by police after more than 6 months. He has committed the offence of causing nuisance in public space and his case was brought before the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts today.

Meanwhile, many investors have filed reports to police with regards to Filecoin machines they purchased for around HK$3 million but apparently police have not filed any fraud charges against him. It is unclear if he has settled the outstanding sums with his disgruntled investors.

He was released on bail at HK$3,000.
