8th December 2023 – (Hong Kong) The excitement is palpable as Hong Kong’s premier international horse racing event prepares to make its highly anticipated comeback.

Spectators can look forward to high-octane performances that will electrify the Parade Ring. Asian diva Karen Mok will take the stage as the headlining act, delivering a show-stopping performance that will ignite the atmosphere. “Let’s come together to show our support for the local and international racing elites at Sha Tin Racecourse on 10th December!”

Accompanying Karen Mok, one of China’s top three tenors, Warren Mok, will join forces with the Hong Kong Police Band to perform the National Anthem during the opening ceremony. Throughout the day, racegoers will also be treated to captivating live music performances by emerging stars from TVB’s signature reality show, STARS Academy, including Duncan How, Janees Wong, Lolita Tsoi, and Archie Sin.

Of course, no racing event is complete without delectable culinary offerings. The HKIR will tantalise taste buds with a wide array of thematic food and beverages, perfectly complementing the day’s thrilling repertoire. In collaboration with Asia Motion E-Sports, the Hong Kong Jockey Club is offering racing fans an opportunity to experience the dynamics of jockey apprenticeship through various E-sport activities such as E-biking, E-running, E-boxing, and E-kayaking. These activities aim to enhance physical strength, stamina, and speed.The raceday will culminate in a breathtaking pyrotechnics display, providing a mesmerising visual feast to conclude the extravagant event.
