Thai man who attempts to break into apartment unit in Yuen Long falls and injures himself

31st January 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 1am today, a man with a tattoo on his chest was found lying on the patio on the 2nd floor of Fook Shun Building, No. 45-67, Ma Wang Road, Yuen Long. He was suspected of falling from a height. Rescuers arrived at the scene and found the victim lying in a pool of blood, but he was still conscious. They immediately rescued him and sent him to the hospital for treatment.

After investigation by the police they suspected that the Thai man (30 years old) holding a passport climbed up to the 5th floor of the building from the back alley. A r resident heard the noise and opened the window. After his motive was exposed, he stumbled and fell from the fifth floor to the courtyard on the second floor. He was injured on the spot and couldn’t move. The resident reported the incident. Blood stains were left in the courtyard, and the officers reclassified the case as attempted burglary, arrested the injured victim, and seized a pair of sneakers to assist in the investigation.
