Temperature to drop to 12°C on Sunday and will remain cold during Lunar New Year holidays


25th January 2022 – (Hong Kong) According to Hong Kong Observatory, a fresh easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, broad bands of clouds will cover southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea. A cold front is expected to move across Guangdong during the weekend. The weather will become cold over the region. Under the influence of the associated northeast monsoon and its replenishment, the weather will remain rather cool over the region during Lunar New Year’s Eve and the Lunar New Year holidays.

Mainly cloudySunny intervals tomorrow. Temperatures will range between 18 and 20 degrees. One or two rain patches tomorrow night. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground tomorrow. Temperatures will fall appreciably on Saturday night and it will drop to only 12°C on Sunday morning. It will still be rather cool during Lunar New Year’s Eve and the Lunar New Year holidays.
