12th January 2022 – (Hong Kong) Affected by the northeast monsoon, the weather in Hong Kong was cool this morning (12th), with the temperature in the urban area dropping to around 14 degrees Celsius, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. At the same time, a cloud band was covering Guangdong. The Observatory recorded a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 72% at 8 am. The average UV index recorded in King’s Park in the past hour was 0, indicating a low intensity.
Temperatures in many districts dropped sharply this morning, with the New Territories generally dropping to as low as 11 degrees Celsius. Among them, Tai Po and Yuen Long recorded the lowest temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius, Sheung Shui 11.8 degrees Celsius, and Shau Kei Wan on Hong Kong Island also recorded as low as 12.8 degrees Celsius.
It is predicted to be mostly cloudy today, cool in the morning and evening, with sunshine for a short period of time during the day, the maximum temperature is about 19 degrees Celsius.
