5th December 2022 – (Hong Kong) At around 3am today, when a passer-by passed No. 2 to No. 16 of Tung Sau Square in Tai Po, he found a taxi crashed into the roller shutter of a shop on the ground floor of the building. There was no one in the car. The police officers arrived at the scene to investigate. It is unknown whether the incident involved criminal elements.
It is reported that the store involved is a supermarket chain, of which the main store in Tai Po has been in operation for nearly a year, and was splashed with red paint about 2 months ago. The paint stains on the signboard are still temporarily covered with red paper. Its branch on San Hong Street which was opened about 2 months ago, has been vandalised three times so far.
Among them, at about 5am last Friday (2nd), the supermarket’s branch at 42, San Hong Street, Sheung Shui was also damaged by a taxi. At that time, the police classified the case as criminal damage. Tai Po Police District Criminal Investigation Team followed up.
