28th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 12.31pm today, a taxi traveling along Shantung Street turned onto Ferry Street and collided with a truck driving along the same road. The front of the taxi was severely damaged and the driver, surnamed Chan (64 years old), felt unwell and had to be transported to the hospital by an ambulance.
The truck driver, surnamed Cheng (70 years old), did not sustain any injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it is suspected that someone may have run a red light and caused the collision.
