Taxi and motorcycle collide in Wong Tai Sin, one injury reported


6th June 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 5.39pm today, a taxi and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Ma Chai Hang Road and Fung Mo Street. The female motorcyclist sustained injuries but remained conscious as she was promptly transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment. The local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Eyewitnesses at the scene observed the motorcycle lying on the ground, with debris scattered around. The injured motorcyclist, visibly in pain, was found lying on the taxi’s hood. She was later assisted to a nearby roadside where she received further medical attention. Several individuals, presumably bystanders, were present, showing concern for the situation. Meanwhile, the taxi driver briefly remained inside the vehicle, making a phone call.
