16th June 2025 – (Hong Kong) The annual SummerFest@Wan Chai returns with its signature Sports Playground, running now through 28th September at the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space. Featuring seven interactive activities—disc golf, cycling, trampoline, football, basketball, golf, and bowling—alongside creative photo areas, the event offers a vibrant summer carnival atmosphere for families and tourists.
In addition to the Sports Playground, 25 special pop-up events will highlight culture, music, dance, and sports, transforming Wan Chai Harbourfront into a hub of entertainment. Conveniently located just minutes from the MTR Exhibition Centre Station and Wan Chai Ferry Pier, the 13,300-square-metre venue has become a prime destination for large-scale events in Hong Kong.
The program collaborates with various organisations to host energetic events on selected weekends and holidays. Highlights include the Baseball5 Dynamic Happy Hour, the Hong Kong Balance Bike Championship, and the JC Fit City Street Challenge. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy obstacle races and lap competitions, while families can participate in dodgeball and ping pong challenges.
Music performances such as the Summer Jams: Family Music Fest 2025, the Let’s Aim High Charity Music Showcase, and the Afternoon Melodies: The Tale of Cantonese Music will fill the harbourfront with melodies. Dance enthusiasts can look forward to the FJDC K-pop Dance Showcase and Sway of Summer performances.
Cultural enthusiasts will appreciate programs like the Expressive Arts for Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness Cultural Festival, which features workshops, collective artwork creations, and a sunset concert. The Taste of Sri Lanka 2025 Food Carnival adds a global culinary flair, celebrating cultural diversity through food.
