4th July 2024 – (Hong Kong) The highly anticipated SummerFest@Central is set to kick off from 5th July to 11th August at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. This year’s festival promises to be an extraordinary experience, showcasing five colossal inflatable wonders designed using cutting-edge Generative AI technology.

Inspired by the renowned AI artist @joooo.ann, these magnificent installations bring digital concepts to life in an awe-inspiring manner. Among the highlights are the Easter Island Moai, Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Arc de Triomphe. Towering as high as 13 meters, these structures will be illuminated with vibrant colours, creating a mesmerising spectacle. Notably, the Stonehenge installation will feature an inflatable trampoline, providing a unique opportunity for children to bounce and play amidst the ancient stones.

SummerFest@Central offers much more than just inflatable wonders. The Fun Sports Gala is a major attraction, featuring exciting 5-kilometre fun runs between Central and Wan Chai, as well as family-friendly 2-kilometre runs along the picturesque harbourfront. Participants will be rewarded with certificates, medals, and souvenirs. Additionally, visitors can engage in emerging ball games such as tchoukball, pickleball, and a one-of-a-kind dodgeball-frisbee hybrid. Traditional rugby enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to indulge in their favourite sport.

Beyond sports, SummerFest@Central boasts over 25 pop-up events that encompass culture, music, and more. Attendees can immerse themselves in the My Rhythm Playground, Serenade, Summer Dance Companion, and GrooveFest. Families will delight in special events like the Summer Sea Fest, HK Camping Festival 2024, Hello Summer Carnival, and Mermazing Palace Summer Splash, providing unforgettable summer experiences for all.

The best part is that all programs and events at SummerFest@Central are free of charge, ensuring accessibility for everyone. The festival will be open from 3pm to 9pm on weekdays and from 1pm to 9pm on weekends, allowing visitors ample time to explore and engage in the festivities.
