6th December 2020 – (Hong Kong) A student from Lingnan Institute of Further Education was diagnosed with COVID-19. The school sent an email yesterday (5th) stating that the last time the student appeared on campus was the 30th of last month, and that he was wearing a mask on that day. The school notified teachers and students who attended the class that day to conduct virus testing for them.
The school pointed out that a student majoring in aviation services and management was diagnosed with COVID-19. He visited UG07, Lau Chung Him Building, Lingnan University, the Learning Resource Centre and attended a group reporting session in Room 110 of the building. The school has notified all teachers and students who attended the class that day and conducted virus testing for them in accordance with the instructions of the Centre for Health Protection. All the affected students are not living in the dormitories. The school stated that it has closed the classrooms and premises involved and will arrange for thorough disinfection throughout the campus.
