24th August 2026 – (New York) Strive said it acquired 1,110 Bitcoin between 17th and 21st August for approximately $81.5 million, taking its total holdings to 21,356 BTC. The company reported an average purchase price of $73,409 per coin, inclusive of fees and expenses, representing an increase of about 5.5 per cent from 20,246 BTC in mid‑August, according to its latest Form 8‑K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Industry trackers indicate Strive remains among the largest publicly listed corporate holders of Bitcoin. Data compiled by Bitcoin Treasuries places the firm in seventh position, with the league table led by Michael Saylor’s company Strategy, followed by Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, MARA and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company.

The announcement comes as corporate Bitcoin treasuries adjust funding mixes while expanding reserves. Strategy, the biggest public holder, said it raised roughly $2 billion via share sales between 17th and 23rd August, allocating $300 million to lift its USD Reserve to $5.1 billion and a further $1.59 billion to a new USD cash pool earmarked for potential Bitcoin purchases, preferred‑stock dividends, interest and buy‑backs.

Bitcoin rallied nearly 25 per cent last week, ending Friday at $77,387 and trading near $80,000 on Monday. Strive chief executive Matt Cole said he has “very strong” conviction the bear market has ended, citing breakouts versus both the dollar and gold and pointing to the BTC‑to‑gold ratio as a useful gauge. In the same filing, Strive reported cash and cash equivalents of $171.9 million, up from $154.8 million as of 14th August, and noted the fair value of its 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock rose to $48.6 million from $47.9 million.
