Coordinated by the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau and sponsored by HKT and FWD Insurance, the “HKT x FWD 2023 National Day Fireworks Display” promises to be a mesmerising spectacle for the city’s residents and visitors alike. With eight captivating scenes set to light up the night sky over Victoria Harbour, this eagerly awaited pyrotechnic show is expected to leave spectators in awe.

Prepare to be amazed as a total of 31,888 firing shells ignite the sky in a remarkable 23-minute showcase. The fireworks will unfold in eight captivating scenes, each conveying a unique message. From the vibrant “Together on National Day with Jubilant Fireworks” featuring red hearts and peonies, to the cheerful “Hello Hong Kong, Happy Hong Kong” showcasing smiling faces and the bauhinia, and the powerful “Rooted in China, Advancing as One” with red five-pointed stars and vibrant color combinations, the display promises awe-inspiring visuals. The grand finale, “Prospering Nation, Blessings for Hong Kong,” will dazzle spectators with crown and palm brocade-shaped fireworks, alternating between red and sparkling bursts, symbolising the prosperity of the nation and blessings for Hong Kong.

To enhance the overall audiovisual experience for onlookers, Radio Television Hong Kong Radio 4 (FM 97.6 to 98.9) will simulcast synchronised background music that perfectly complements the spectacular fireworks showcase. This stunning display can be enjoyed from various vantage points, including Tsim Sha Tsui, the Mid-levels, Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, and the Hung Hom Bypass.
