7th December 2023 – (Hong Kong) The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Hong Kong is delighted to announce the upcoming “Dog Adoption Date: Christmas Street Pawty Edition” event on December 16, 2023. The event will take place at One Woof Club on Shing Wong Street in Central, known for being one of the most dog-friendly neighborhoods in Hong Kong.
The SPCA’s Adoption Date events provide an opportunity for the public to meet rescue dogs that are currently looking for their forever homes. This event aims to connect potential adopters with dogs of different ages, backgrounds, and characteristics, in the hopes of finding the perfect match and ensuring that no dog spends another Christmas alone.
In addition to the adoption opportunities, the event will also feature a dog tug toy-making workshop. Participants will learn how to upcycle old T-shirts to create fun tug toys for their dogs this Christmas.
Visitors can also enjoy a relaxing coffee break at neighboring dog-friendly coffee shops, Common Ground and Kahu. Pups attending the event will receive free treats from Puppermint, a free puppucino at Common Ground, and a treat from Kahu.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to the SPCA to support the medical care and daily needs of the rescue animals.
The SPCA extends a warm invitation to all dog lovers to join the event and make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals. By participating in the event, attendees can help provide the necessary support for the rescue animals and give them the second chance they deserve this Christmas.
