South Asian motorcyclist killed after being hit by taxi in Mong Kok, passenger sustains injuries


4th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 7pm today, a taxi carrying a passenger was driving along Argyle Street in Mong Kok, near the junction of Tai Ping Road. It then collided with a South Asian motorcyclist who fell to the ground and seriously injured his head. Passers-by saw the accident and immediately reported it to the police for help. The paramedics arrived after receiving the report and sent the unconscious victim to the hospital for emergency treatment. Unfortunately, he died of his injuries at around 8pm. In the accident, a passenger of the taxi was also injured and had to be sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment. Police officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
