The new AVA 228 apartment located on Tai Nan Street, Cheung Sha Wan has a total of 160 units for sale. The size of the mircro-apartments ranges from 129sqf to 249sqf. The developer just offered today amongst others, 2 units with 129sqf respectively for sale on 2nd floor of the new building. The project is scheduled to be completed by 31st December 2021.
Similar project such as T-Plus apartment in Tuen Mun was built by Mainland China-based developer Jiayuan International Group. It was launched last year with smallest units averaging 128sqf each priced at HK$2.85 million (US$363,291).
These micro apartments are smaller than standard car park space in Hong Kong. Despite prediction by industry experts that prices for these tiny flats are expected to tumble as much as 30 per cent, some developers are still bullish on their projects. The growth of this segment has reached saturation point.
