25th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) A resident of Shek Ning House, Shek Lei Estate, has reported multiple incidents of air gun shots being fired at their unit. The resident posted a CCTV clip on social media, showing a young teenager firing multiple shots at their doorstep before fleeing. The resident has reported the incident to the police and the Housing Department.
According to local district councillor Lam Siu-fai, this is the third time that the resident’s unit has been targeted by air gun shots, with all three incidents occurring at around 5 pm. The resident has installed CCTV cameras and reported the incidents to the Housing Department. The department has posted notices in the building and increased security patrols in the area.
Lam speculated that the incidents may be the result of juveniles playing around and urged parents to educate their children about the dangers of such behaviour. The police are currently investigating the incidents.ShareLike
