Sex worker robbed of HK$3,000 at Wan Chai’s Fuji building, faces arrest for suspected violation of staying conditions

24th February 2024 – (Hong Kong) At around 11pm, a female individual became the target of a robbery in Wan Chai’s Fuji Building located at 381-383 Lockhart Road. The assailant, armed with a knife, forcibly snatched approximately HK$3,000 from the victim before making a swift escape. Fortunately, the woman remained unharmed and promptly reported the incident to seek assistance.

Law enforcement authorities have launched a vigorous manhunt for a male suspect believed to be around 20 years old, wearing dark-coloured attire at the time of the crime. As investigations continue to unfold, it has come to light that the victim is a sex worker. However, in a surprising turn of events, she now finds herself facing charges of “violating staying conditions.”
