3rd November 2019 – (Hong Kong) After many areas in TST and Hong Kong island were occupied by rioters yesterday, netizens again called upon others to gather at 7 districts including Admiralty (Tamar Park), Mong Kok (MacPherson Stadium), Wong Tai Sin Plaza, Tai Po, Tsuen Wan Park, Sha Tin Town Hall and Tuen Mun today from 1pm onwards. Police announced at 2pm that Tamar Park would be closed to public due to public event. Riot police arrived at the scene to disperse the crowd. At around 1.30pm, around 100 people gathered at Sha Tin Town hall while 100 people gathered Tai Po Mega Mall and shouted anti-government slogans.
Meanwhile, around 30 protesters clad in black were walking around Tai Po and some vandalised the pro-Beijing District Councillor’s office near Tai Yuen Estate. Rioters clad in black vandalised a Best Mart 360 store at 2.35pm. At 3.35pm, some protesters lock the main entrance glass doors at Tuen Mun Plaza to prevent police from entering.
8.49pm – Police re-enter City Plaza and arrest another person while pepper spraying.
7.56pm – Injured victims are sent via ambulance to hospital from City Plaza.
7.42pm – At least 4 people are injured by armed assailant at City Plaza.
7.30pm – Police arrest several people in Tai Po and pepper spray protesters.
6.23pm – Police arrest one protester at City Plaza.
5.55pm – Black flag hoisted in front of Tai Po Megamall.
5.45pm – Police search many people in front of Tai Po Megamall
5.32pm – Security Guards close the main doors of Trend Plaza in Tuen Mun.
4.55pm – Several protesters feel unwell at New Town Plaza, ambulance arrive to send them to hospital.
4.55pm – Rioters barricade Lung Cheung Road in Wong Tai Sin before setting on fire.
4.22pm – Riot police enter New Town Plaza in Sha Tin before arresting several people.
4.15pm – Another chain restaurant in Tai Po is vandalised by rioters with sledgehammer. Staff immediately closes the restaurant.
3.53pm – Someone throws a Chinese national flag at the concourse of New Town Plaza in Sha Tin before another person picks it up and threw in near the bus terminus.
