7th December 2023 – (Los Angeles) Hip-hop star Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with yet another lawsuit, this time accusing him of participating in the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl at his Manhattan recording studio back in 2003. The lawsuit marks the fourth sexual assault allegation against Combs in recent weeks.
In response to the allegations, Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records and a renowned rap performer, released a statement firmly asserting his innocence and denouncing the accusations as an attempt to extort money.
The latest lawsuit was filed by a plaintiff identified as Jane Doe, who was a high school student at the time. She alleges that she met Combs’ associates at a lounge in the Detroit area, where they later flew her on a private jet to New York and took her to his studio. According to the complaint, Combs and two other men supplied her with drugs and alcohol, leading to her being raped in the studio’s bathroom while she drifted in and out of consciousness. The lawsuit also claims that Combs watched one of the other assaults after his own.
The complaint includes several photographs, reportedly taken inside Combs’ studio, showing the accuser with her face blurred, including one where she appears to be sitting on Combs’ lap.
The lawsuit, filed under New York City’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, highlights the plaintiff’s enduring emotional distress and the significant impact it has had on her life and relationships.
Combs’ latest accuser came forward after reading about a previous lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The two parties settled the case privately, with Combs maintaining his denial of the allegations. However, following the settlement, two more lawsuits were filed against Combs.
Combs’ lawyer, Ben Brafman, stated that the recent settlement was not an admission of wrongdoing and that his client vehemently denies the allegations made by all the accusers.
