Sailing boat in Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter catches fire


1st August 2020 – (Hong Kong) At 4pm this afternoon, a 20-foot-long sailing boat moored in the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter caught fire, and black smoke was billowing in the air. After receiving the report, the firefighter arrived at the scene to put out the fire. The cabin entrance of the boat involved was damaged, and no one was injured in the incident.

After investigation by the fire department, it was suspected that the fire was caused by cigarette butt.
