The event, in which O’Sullivan is an investor, drew a crowd of over a hundred enthusiastic fans. The snooker icon revealed his excitement about participating in the Shanghai Masters, set to begin on Monday (28th July). He expressed particular anticipation for a potential match against reigning world champion Zhao Xintong, who defeated him in the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship in May. O’Sullivan affirmed his readiness for the tournament, emphasising his commitment to rigorous training and maintaining peak performance, declaring, “I am always ready.”
