Retired senior police officer fined HK$6,500 and faces 2 -year licence suspension for drunk driving

A 55 year old retired senior police officer riding a motorcycle collided with a police car on Kai Cheung Road, Kowloon Bay in November last year. When he was sent to hospital for inspection, doctor detected alcohol in his breath and suggested him to undergo a breathalyser test and he refused. He was then arrested.

He was fined HK$6,500 and faces 2 year licence suspension by the Kwun Tong Magistrate’s Court today for two offences : negligent driving and failure to provide breath test results.
