Residents gather at Tuen Mun Park this afternoon to protest against the street performers for causing nuisance repetitively


14th January 2020 – (Hong Kong) Residents gathered at Tuen Mun Park yesterday to protest against street performers for causing a nuisance repetitively. Tuen Mun District Councillors and staff from Leisure and Cultural Services Department were present to evict the street performers from the park. A scuffle broke out between the street performers and civilians. Riot police arrested a 46-year-old woman and two other 24 and 59-year-old men for engaging in a physical fight.

At 2.30pm today, residents again gathered at Tuen Mun Park to protest against the street performers. Riot police were present to manage the situation.
