Remember the Rubber Duck? It’s now available for bidding at Sotheby’s charity auction, ‘Contemporary Showcase : MEET AllRightsReserved’

2nd June 2020 – (Hong Kong) Sotheby’s Auction house is thrilled to present an online auction titled ‘Contemporary Showcase : MEET AllRightsReserved’, a charity online auction curated in collaboration with Hong Kong-based creative studio AllRightsReserved, featuring an exciting assemblage of limited-edition collectables and unique works by some of the most sought-after artists and designers of our generation.

Highlights include a one-of-its-kind sculpture of Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s yellow rubber duck tour sculpture, which was exclusively displayed in the public art exhibition of “Rubber Duck Project: HK Tour” in 2013 when its colossal counterpart floated in Hong Kong’s famed Victoria Harbour; alongside limited-edition collectables and original artwork by KAWS, VERDY, Yu Nagaba, David Shrigley and more. The estimated value of the yellow rubber duck is at HK$28,000 – HK$48,000.

AllRightsReserved will donate all proceeds to TWGHs “Share Love & Fight the Epidemic” Donation Campaign for Short Term Financial Aid, in support of families with members who have lost their jobs or businesses due to COVID-19, or have been infected by COVID-19, but have not applied for Comprehensive Social Security Assistance.
