Refund deadline approaching for government tunnel toll tickets

3rd April 2024 – (Hong Kong) The Transport Department (TD) issued a timely reminder today, 3rd April, to the public regarding the implementation of the HKeToll system at all government tolled tunnels. As a result, Government Tunnel Toll Tickets (toll tickets) are no longer accepted for toll payment. The TD urges all holders of toll tickets to take immediate action and visit the designated TD outlets to apply for a refund before the deadline on 30th June. Failure to do so will result in the inability to obtain a refund.

To facilitate the refund process, the TD has provided a list of refund locations across various districts, ensuring convenience for the public. The refund locations and their operating hours are as follows:

District: Hong Kong Island
Refund Location: Star Ferry Car Park, 9 Edinburgh Place, Central
Operating Hours: 24 hours

Refund Location: Shau Kei Wan Car Park, 1 Po Man Street, Shau Kei Wan

District: Kowloon
Refund Location: The One Car Park, 100 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
Refund Location: Millennium City 6 Car Park, 392 Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong
Refund Location: Sheung Fung Street Car Park, Sheung Fung Street, Wong Tai Sin

District: New Territories
Refund Location: Kwai Fong Car Park, 19 Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Chung
Refund Location: Tsuen Wan Car Park, 174-208 Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan, Tsuen Wan

It is essential for applicants to bring their toll tickets along for the refund procedure.
