Rear window of car shattered in Mong Kok, backpack with HK$6,000 worth of valuables stolen

3rd December 2019 – (Hong Kong) A woman parked her 4WD vehicle on Nelson Street, Mong Kok and left her backpack on the rear seat before leaving after midnight. The car window was then smashed and the backpack was stolen. When she returned to her vehicle at around 3am, she found the rear window on the right side of the car shattered. She then called the police after her bag went missing. She lost a total of HK$6,000 worth of headphones in the backpack.

Police are currently checking CCTV footage around the area to identify the suspect.

There have been a string of similar cases that took place in TST and Mong Kok in the past few months.
