Protesters gather at various shopping malls in Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Causeway Bay and Tseung Kwan O, cafe vandalised in Tsuen Wan Plaza


10th November 2019 – (Hong Kong) Protesters gathered at various shopping malls today to continue with the pro-democracy movement. There were around 30-50 riot police at Times Square in Causeway Bay. They conducted body search on protesters clad in black with masks. Around 20 protesters assembled at City Walk in Tsuen Wan and around 10 people gathered at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong. Meanwhile, less than 20 people gathered at East Point City in Tseung Kwan O. Riot police stormed into Tai Po Plaza to be on standby.

Riot police were spotted at Sha Tin MTR Station at 3.04pm.

At 2.30pm today, a cafe at Tsuen Wan Plaza was vandalised by rioters while some barricade the road in front of Tuen Mun Central Bus Terminus. Many protesters were stopped by riot police in On Ting Estate in Tuen Mun at around 3.15pm. Riot police restrained many protesters outside Tsuen Wan MTR Station at 2.50pm.

Protesters shouted slogans on different floors in Festival Walk at 3.15pm. Rioters damaged public amenities at Sha Tin MTR Station resulting in the station being closed at around 3pm. A blind woman was pushed to the floor and she was seen lying under the roller shutter to prevent the station from being closed.
