Private vehicle engulfed in flames in Tai Kok Tsui, driver’s brief absence leads to total destruction


18th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 8pm today, a vehicle was parked opposite Hoi Fu Court at 2 Hoi Ting Road in Tai Kok Tsui when it suddenly caught fire. Fortunately, the prompt arrival of the fire brigade prevented any casualties, as they swiftly extinguished the flames using a hose and a team equipped with fire helmets.

According to preliminary information, the male driver, facing an urgent need, had parked his vehicle at the aforementioned location and quickly ventured to a nearby restroom. However, upon returning just over a minute later, he was met with a disturbing sight—the front of his vehicle engulfed in flames. Within moments, the entire car succumbed to the fiery blaze, reducing it to ashes.
