Private car knocks down male pedestrian on Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei

24th January 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 5.35pmt today, a Lexus vehicle hit a male passerby on a pedestrian crossing near the Shanghai Street / Market Street Playground. Paramedics arrived at the scene and attended to the male victim who was lying on the ground. Sources at the scene said that the driver of the car was using his mobile phone before the accident occurred. The male victim was subsequently sent to the hospital
