Popular South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook uploads Hong Kong vlog on his YouTube channel

    24th March 2023- (Hong Kong) Popular South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook has returned to Korea after attending the Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong. It turns out that he filmed a Vlog during his time in Hong Kong, which he uploaded to his YouTube channel last night. The video’s description is written in Korean and reads “How about walking the streets of Hong Kong together?” with English subtitles, and it has already received over 129,000 views after one day.

    In the video, Ji Chang-wook can be seen wearing a cap, a light-coloured shirt, and a shoulder bag. He visits the Monster Building in Quarry Bay to take some pictures and videos, and then walks around taking more pictures and videos. He stops to watch some older men playing Chinese chess on the street and shows a lot of curiosity. Later, he takes the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui, buys a box of macarons at K11 Art Mall and walks along Carnarvon Road while eating. He also passes by a cafe and shows interest in the dessert and cakes displayed in the window. Finally, he enjoys the night view of Victoria Harbour.

    Ji Chang-wook has visited Hong Kong several times before and although this trip was short, he was excited to try the local food. He had his favourite wonton noodles as soon as he landed, and he loves dumplings and dim sum.

    Ji rose to fame for playing the lead role of Dong-hae in daily drama series Smile Again (2010–2011), and had notable lead roles in television series such as Warrior Baek Dong-soo (2011), Empress Ki (2013–2014), Healer (2014–2015), The K2 (2016), Suspicious Partner (2017), Melting Me Softly (2019), Backstreet Rookie (2020), Lovestruck in the City (2020-2021), The Sound of Magic (2022), and If You Wish Upon Me.
