26th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) In the early hours of 26th March, a police car en route to handle a traffic accident in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, lost control and crashed into a roadside barrier on Hennessy Road. The accident took place as the police car was travelling along Gloucester Road towards Happy Valley and Aberdeen. Despite the severity of the crash, there were no reported injuries.
Following the incident, several traffic police officers arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. They used wood chips to cover the affected area on the road to prevent further accidents. The damaged police car was later towed away from the scene.
At the time of the accident, the police car was responding to a report of a traffic accident that occurred earlier in the area.
