Police to deploy 1,500 officers to secure the parameters of West Kowloon Station tomorrow ahead of protest

6th July 2019 – (Hong Kong) According to latest sources, police expect a huge turnout for the 7th July march tomorrow in Kowloon. There is even a possibility that the protestors may engage in a stand off with mainland Chinese tourists near Canton Road and police have not ruled out a potential siege at West Kowloon Station where the march will end. To prevent the station from being damaged, police will deploy at least 1,500 officers to standby tomorrow.

After several violent clashes in the past few weeks, police will tighten the security around the parameters of the train station especially around the exits and main entrance to prevent protestors from besieging.
