Police on the hunt for culprit after HK$200,000 robbery at currency exchange store in Kwun Tong

12th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 1.20pm today, a currency exchange store located at 106 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, fell victim to a daring thief who made off with HK$200,000. Authorities swiftly responded to the incident and are currently engaged in a manhunt to apprehend the suspect.

Closed-circuit television footage captured the scene of the robbery, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation. The perpetrator, sporting a grey duckbill cap and a face mask, was dressed in dark clothing with a backpack slung across his chest. Standing before the counter of the currency exchange store, he appeared to make a suspicious movement with his right hand, reaching into a bag.
