5th February 2023 – (Beijing) Recently, a passenger discovered that there was a secret camera hidden in the bathroom of one of the car on a train no K4238 bound for Beijing West Railway Station, so he called the police for help. The police arrived at the scene after receiving the report, seized the hidden camera equipment, and when he was about remove it for investigation, a man suddenly appeared and shouted, “What are you doing with my stuff?”. Seeing that the suspect voluntarily “surrendered”, the police immediately arrested the male suspect.
The Beijing Railway Public Security Department was informed of the incident and said that the male suspect was sentenced to administrative detention for 5 days. The incident happened at about 10am on 26th January.
