Police issue two fixed penalty tickets to 2 in Yau Tong Estate for violating gathering ban, the other two fled


2nd August 2020 – (Hong Kong) At about 1pm today, the police received a report that many people gathered in Yau Tong Estate, Kwun Tong, suspected of violating the gathering ban. Police officers arrived at the scene and found 3 men and 1 woman gathered at the estate. They stopped and searched the 4 of them. Among them, 1 man and 1 woman fled immediately. The police then issued a fixed penalty tickets for allegedly violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Regulations (Cap 599G).

The police urge everyone to take care of themselves and others by strictly abiding by relevant laws to help control the epidemic and reduce the risk of the virus spreading in the community.
