Police issue fixed-penalty tickets to 12 people who gather in Tsuen Wan to show solidarity for the 12 Hongkongers detained in Shenzhen

24th October 2020 – (Hong Kong) Twelve Hong Kong residents were intercepted by the Chinese Coast Guard and are now detained at the Yantian District Detention Center in Shenzhen. A street station was set up by student group ‘Politicism‘ and district councillors in Tsuen Wan at 3pm today (24) to call on the public to continue to show concern for the 12 Hong Kong residents. During the period, the police arrived at the scene to pull up a orange ribbon to cordon off the area and issued fixed-penalty tickets to 8 men and 4 women (aged 15 to 62) for violating the gathering ban.
