Police arrest 5 men involved in airport cargo terminal fight on 27th November


1st December 2021 – (Hong Kong) The police received a report on the afternoon of 27th November, stating that some workers were fighting in the cargo terminal of the airport’s air transport centre in the early hours of the same day.

The Criminal Intelligence and Support Team of the Airport Police District took over the investigation and joined forces with the New Territories South Tactical Force to conduct anti-crime operations in the airport cargo area for several days. They searched multiple crime black spots, stopped and interrogated more than 100 people. After in-depth investigation and search of multiple locations, police officers arrested 5 men (26 to 41 years old) at the airport yesterday for “fighting in public places.” All arrested persons have been released on bail pending further investigation and must report to the police in late December. The case is still under investigation, and the police do not rule out more arrests.
