11th September 2022 – (Warsaw) Poland and Italy reached final at the men’s volleyball 2022 FIVB World Championship in Katowice, Poland on Saturday.

The hosts and defending champions, Poland, beat Brazil 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 15-12 to note their sixth consecutive victory in the tournament.

Poland’s captain Bartosz Kurek scored 24 points, and outside hitter Kamil Semeniuk added 23. Ricardo Lucarelli was the most prolific scorer for Brazil with 18 points.
