Starting from 31st March to 2nd July 2023, guests can choose from two fantastic venues to enjoy the Peninsula’s celebrated Afternoon Tea – the Lobby restaurant or the lavishly appointed World Star ferry. Between 2.30 pm and 4pm, guests aboard the World Star will be treated to a mouth-watering array of sweet and savoury bites, live music, and stunning views. Priced at HK$650 per person, the special menu features savoury delights such as Tuna Niçoise on focaccia, Green asparagus and cheddar quiche, Beef pastrami with gherkins, and Classic cucumber sandwiches. Sweet treats include Citrus jelly and vanilla cheesecake, Apple, cinnamon and caramel tartlets, Mont-blanc chocolate cream on a sesame biscuit, and The Peninsula’s famous raisin scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Spectacular Sunset Soirée Cruise
Guests can also join an elegant floating cocktail party every weekend evening from 31st March to 2nd July 2023, starting at 5.30 pm. The Sunset Soirée Cruise aboard the World Star is a magnificent voyage through Victoria Harbour, taking in waterfront gems such as the West Kowloon Cultural District and Stonecutters Island. The cruise includes delectable canapés such as Snow crab roulade with yuzu cream, Seared tuna loin with salmon caviar, Serrano ham with fig chutney, and Mini cheesecakes prepared by The Peninsula’s culinary team. The hotel’s skilful mixology team crafts creative libations, and live DJ music and photo opportunities add to the magical experience. Priced at HK$850 per person, the cruise includes two hours of free-flowing artisan and classic cocktails, with HK$100 per person for additional Champagne.
