Pedestrian struck and trapped under taxi in Tsim Sha Tsui accident


20th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 11.34am today, a taxi collided with a pedestrian on Carnarvon Road, near the junction of Nathan Road and Cameron Road. The pedestrian was struck and subsequently trapped under the vehicle, requiring assistance from eyewitnesses to report the incident. The local fire department swiftly responded to the distress call and successfully extricated the victim from underneath the taxi. Subsequently, the injured individual was promptly transported to the hospital for necessary medical treatment via an ambulance. The circumstances surrounding the accident and the underlying causes are currently under investigation.
