16th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) A 17-year-old youth surnamed Yeung played parkour with 2 friends on the 15th-floor rooftop of Tsim Sha Tsui Mansion, 36-50 Lock Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon and died tragically after falling. He landed on the platform on the 2nd floor below before being certified dead by paramedics. A group of Hong Kong parkour practitioners launched a crowdfunding statement for Yeung through a social media page, expressing that they knew that his family was under a lot of financial pressure, so they hoped to provide support for his family.

The crowdfunding statement pointed out that there is a high chance that the government or social welfare organisations could not provide sufficient support to the victim’s family. The group hopes to provide financial assistance to their family through crowdfunding.
